Museum of Making Music

The music products industry has a multifaceted history (1890s to today) that is showcased in the fascinating Museum of Making Music-a division of the NAMM Foundation.  Located at NAMM Headquarters in Carlsbad, the Museum depicts stories of hard work, challenge, inspiration and pioneering innovation and shows the profound relationship between the industry, popular music and global culture.

This community resource unveils the unique and often quiet back-story of the music products industry to the general public.  Intimate concerts, films, discussions, hands-on workshops, volunteer opportunities and programs for underserved youth, offer people of all ages ways to explore the richly intriguing world of music making.

• The Museum is open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 AM - 5 PM;  closed Mondays and on major holidays.
