U.S. Putting Tour Championship
USPT Championship Week
The entire tournament takes place on The Crossings' large, two-tiered practice putting green. In Round 1, you'll play 72 holes of medal play. There are four days of Round 1 play; you choose the day you want to play your Round 1:
Monday (September 26), Tuesday (September 27), Wednesday (September 28) or Thursday (September 29). Participants from outside of Southern California get preference for Thursday. Eighteen golfers will advance from each Round 1 day to Championship Friday (September 30). Round 1 scores do not carry over to Friday.
The 72 golfers who make it to Championship Friday will play 36 holes in the morning. After the morning round, the field is cut to the low 24 scores. These 24 golfers will play another 36 holes in the afternoon. The total 72-hole score from Friday will determine the winner. In the event of a tie, there will be a sudden-death playoff.
