Carlsbad Good Ride is a free visitor transportation program designed for visitors funded through a grant from the Carlsbad Tourism Business Improvement District.

This transportation program operates from Wednesdays through Sundays, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. during the initial phase of the program. Starting April 1, 2024, hours of operation are every day from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., ensuring that travelers can conveniently access this service throughout their entire stay to travel to and from their hotel to all the spots in Carlsbad.

So, how can you hop on the Carlsbad Good Ride? It's as easy as downloading the Ride Circuit app, which is available on both Google Play and the Apple App Store. Once you've got the app, simply select your location within Carlsbad, enter your pick-up and drop-off points and you're ready to enjoy the ride. Worried about using the app? Don't be! The helpful staff at all Carlsbad hotels and resorts are available to assist guests in calling a Circuit ride to and from their desired destinations.

The Fleet: Eco-Friendly and Comfortable

Carlsbad Good Ride boasts a fleet of both ten-passenger vans and five-passenger sedans, all of which are 100% electric. To request a ride, riders must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult. For the youngest passengers, weighing at least 65 lbs. or using a child seat provided by an adult passenger is a requirement. Additionally, Circuit vehicles are pet-friendly, subject to the driver's discretion; wheelchair-accessible rides can also be requested through the Circuit app.
