LEGOLAND is the Place to Build Memories this Christmas
The holiday season inspires creativity. If you are into DIY projects, the holidays are the perfect time to try your hand at craft making.
Wrapping gifts, hanging lights, decorating the tree, and coordinating outfits for family pictures all require an artistic touch.
For kids, the bright colors and magical characters that surround the holidays can ignite imaginations and encourage young minds to indulge in the unknown. In Carlsbad, LEGOLAND is the pinnacle of creativity, imagination, and fun. The park is filled with dreams that have come to life with colorful blocks and characters that were created with fantastic imagination. During the holidays, LEGOLAND embraces the magic of the season. This year, Holidays at LEGOLAND is bursting with cheer. From November 23rd - January 5th, the park is transformed into a winter wonderland of merriment and joy. If you are in Carlsbad this season, you won’t want to miss out on the magic of the holidays at LEGOLAND.
Presented by Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas, Holidaysat LEGOLAND is an immersive experience that starts the moment you enter the Resort. The hotel’s lobby is dripping with festive decor. Lights and glitter spill out into the park and guests are greeted by holiday favorites like Santa and the Toy Soldier. This year, there is a new character joining Santa for all of the fun. The Gingerbread Man can be spotted around the park and is ready to spread holiday love with hugs and pictures.
Just beyond the gate, the holiday spirit has taken over Fun Town. There is a giant 30-foot LEGO Christmas tree, decorated with hundreds of twinkling ornaments. Touted as the ‘World's Largest LEGO Christmas tree’, the thousands of LEGO bricks and lights tower over the Town. After meeting real-life Santa, Toy Soldier, and Gingerbread Man, kids can meet their favorite LEGO characters in full size. The new Holiday Village has life-sized versions of Santa and his reindeer, as well as all of the other Christmas characters that you love. Kids can sit on Santa’s lap and pose for a holiday picture surrounded by poinsettias and his magical sleigh.
The park is also hosting a variety of holiday-themed shows and events throughout the season. The Yule Tides are LEGOLAND’s very own group of caroling elves. Their holiday glee club will be performing shows throughout the park. The performances include a mix of new carols and traditional favorites. In addition to the holiday carols, Santa’s elves are putting on a show to see which elf can outperform the others. Santa’s Top Elf show is a fun theatrical competition of holiday wits and Christmas crafting skills.
As nighttime approaches, the LEGO Christmas tree lights the sky. Each night, the Holiday Light Show transforms the park into a bright beacon of holiday cheer.
Don’t miss out on everything LEGOLAND has to offer this Christmas. Tickets and limited-time hotel packages are on sale now for as low as $101 per person. Make the most of the holidays this season and ring in the New Year at the Kids New Year’s Eve with live music, fireworks, and a giant brick drop.
