Overview

Downtown Carlsbad will come alive with creativity on Sunday, June 22 as the Carlsbad Village Association presents the 27th annual Art in the Village, taking place from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Transforming the streets of Carlsbad Village into an open-air gallery, this beloved tradition showcases over 130 local and regional juried artists featuring an impressive array of mediums including painting, photography, sculpture, glasswork, mixed media and more.

Attendees can meet the artists, watch live sculpting demonstrations and experience the creative process up close. This year, the event is excited to welcome back the popular Chalk Zone, where colorful street art will brighten the Village sidewalks.

Families are invited to explore hands-on activities at the City of Carlsbad’s Family Open Studio Station, encouraging creativity for all ages.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, live musicians will perform throughout the Village, providing a lively soundtrack to a day filled with art and inspiration.
