The Bad Stuff by Maestro Catador Felipe Soto Mares
The tequila featured is called The Bad Stuff, while the mezcal has not yet been named. Guests will have the opportunity to taste something entirely new that is not yet on the market. The tequila is produced in Jalisco, and the mezcal comes from Oaxaca.
Maestro Catador FELIPE SOTO MARES earned his Catador (Sommelier) status at La Academia Mexicana del Tequila in Jalisco, Mexico in 2005. Mr. Soto Mares received the designation of Maestro Catador (Master Sommelier) in 2008 by conducting extensive educational tequila tastings & seminars and being appointed the Director of La Academia Mexicana del Tequila for California, the first designation offered outside of Mexico. Currently, there are only a few Maestro Catadors in the entire Tequila Industry.
