Carlsbad Village is transforming into a vibrant pop-up art gallery this weekend with Chalk Art in the Village, happening Saturday, August 30, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the courtyard of the Village Faire Shopping Center.
Hosted by the Carlsbad Village Association (CVA), this free and family-friendly event invites you to watch as five celebrated local and regional artists, Katie Bush, Cecelia Linayao, Meg Beverly Canilang, Phyllis Swanson, and Ron Juncal, each transform a 4-by-4-foot prepared board into a vivid representation of “Final Days of Summer.” It’s a rare opportunity to experience the creative process unfolding in real time as the courtyard comes alive with color and energy.
