It’s not every day that chefs are presented with the opportunity to realize their dreams of owning their own restaurant. Brian’s journey as a chef dates back to 2006 when he first was offered the position of sushi chef at the original Sushi Taisho. He was young and eager to learn a form of art that requires a vast supply of patience. Chef Brian is meticulous in his work of art, and is devoted to providing good quality products to our customers.
Chef Brian brought on his wife Misun to join the team. When Misun first started working as a server at the original Sushi Taisho, she knew that one day, she would be running the show. Together the couple made close connections with all the other employees and became a family. Some of those original employees followed Brian & Misun when they created their own restaurant, and have come back to the new Sushi Taisho to continue the legacy.
