Visit Carlsbad is offering event grants to help support new and existing events that take place in Carlsbad, California. The purpose of these grants is to encourage a robust offering of events that stimulate tourism and overnight guests to the destination.
Types of Events Supported:
Placemaking Events (up to $5,000/event)
Events that add to tourism, culture, or atmosphere of Carlsbad and enhance its position as a destination.
Brand Positioning Events (up to $50,000/event)
Events that further position Carlsbad as a destination in alignment with key experience pillars: wellness, beach, golf, arts/entertainment, outdoors, culinary, and sustainability.
Room Night Driving Events (up to $100,000/event)
Events that directly increase overnight stays in hotels in Carlsbad.
